On May 1, 2010, a voter registration drive was held throughout Penang, with the aim of encouraging more Penangites to get involved in the parliamentary process. The drive was officially launched by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng at Gurney Plaza. As was demonstrated by the recent Hulu Selangor and Sibu by-elections, nothing is certain in Malaysian politics, and every vote counts!
