The sixth edition of the Penang Island Jazz Festival was held from Dec 3-6, 2009, featuring performers from Germany, Norway, Korea, Lithuania, Brazil, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Holland, the United States and Malaysia. Young local musicians also got their chance to shine in the Young Talent Competition and the Fringe Stages. From blues to fusion to ethno jazz, audiences were treated to four nights of unforgettable music.
