Come and join us for this festive gathering as we sing along to The Muppet's Christmas Carol. Even if you don't know the film, your Scroogelike heart will be warmed by the singing of both the Muppets and the people around you. There will be eggnog and carols and various other Christmassy things (maybe even mistletoe) afterwards so do stick around. Feel free to bring food, drinks and musical instruments to share with other jolly folks.

Don’t get locked out in the cold, because if the doors are shut, it means that the film has started and we won't let you in. Be on time to guarantee a chair.

So you think running on a treadmill in a gym is no longer fun, and you need something different to test your stamina? Then the Trail in Twilight Stars is for you! This 12-hour ultra-run will test your endurance. Choose to run alone or grab a partner to form a team of two to tackle the 7km worth of challenging trails in the forests of Penang Hill. Expect to run in the darkness because the run ends at 6am, just in time for your morning coffee.

The dragon emblem used in the dragon boat race signifies unity. This is because the dragon is said to be a combination of other animals in the Chinese zodiac: the head of an ox, the antlers of a deer, the mane of a horse, the body and scales of a snake, the claws of an eagle and the tail of a fish.

Organised by the Penang State Tourism Development and Culture, the Penang Pesta Dragon Boat Race will host 40 teams from all over the globe, such as Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, the US and Singapore.
